Membership Terms and Conditions

1.1 The name and contact details of the club

1.2 The club’s objectives

The objectives of Studio 360 Fitness is to provide a fitness facility and service that is outstanding within the industry, we aim to do this by providing the latest fitness trends and products. Our staff are all fully qualified to an exceptional standard and will be continually trained to this standard, at Studio 360 Fitness we aspire to provide a relaxed and very friendly atmosphere.

Section 2. Memberships

2.2 Membership fees
2.2a Pre-Pay

Payment is required in full before or on the day of the start of membership by cash or card. You will be entitled to all the rights and privleges exercisable for the type of membership you have chosen.

Cancellation policy – There is no cancellation policy for pre-paid membership. No refunds will be given.

2.2b Direct Debit

Your payments will be taken on 1st/8th/15th/25th of each month. A pro rata amount of will be taken on the day you join to cover your membership until the date of your first direct debit payment. You will be entitled to all the rights and privledges exercisable for the type of membership you have chosen.

Cancellation policy – The cancellation policy only applies once you have completed the minimum term of your membership less 30 days (eg cancellation on a 12 month contract can only be given once 11 months or more has been completed). All cancellation notice MUST be given in writing (email to info@studiofitness.co.uk). It is the member’s responsibility to check this written notice has been received.

Final payment – A final pro rate payment may be due at the end of your membership, to cover any period not covered by your Direct Debit payment. If applicable, you will be notified of this payment in your cancellation confirmation email.

Outstanding/unpaid Payments – Any unsuccessful Direct Debits must be paid by cash or card within 7 days of the due date. Failure to do so may result in membership being suspended and incur additional fees. Payments outstanding for more than 30 days may result in further legal action being taken.

2.3 Membership cards

Members will be provided with membership cards. These must be presented at the start of every visit to Studio 360 Fitness. Failure to do so could result in entry being refused. Membership cards will also activate a locker, failure to bring your card may result in members not being able to use a locker. Replacement membership cards are charged at £5.

Section 3 Guests

3.1 Guest fees

Members can bring guests to use the facilities within the opening hours, a fee of £6.50 will be charged on arrival.

3.2 Member responsibilities

Members can bring guests to use the facilities although members are fully responsible for their guests when they are on Studio 360 Fitness property, the guests must sign in at reception before entering/using the facilities. Guests under the age of 16 years are not permitted; ID may need to be provided.

Section 4. Rules for the use of Studio 360 Fitness

4.1 Member and guest conduct

Full members and guests must be 16 years or older. ID will need to be provided. Studio 360 Fitness reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone believed to be less than 16 years old.

Members and guests must conduct themselves in a suitable manner. Rudeness towards staff or other members, inappropriate behaviour, swearing, dangerous behaviour and any misconduct will not be tolerated in anyway and can result in expulsion of the member and guest from Studio 360 Fitness at any point.

If a member or guest enters the facilities in unsuitable footwear or clothing it is down to the liability of that individual if they injure themselves, Studio 360 Fitness will not take responsibility for individuals who do not abide by the terms and conditions.

Members must respect each other and staff members. Rudeness, abuse, swearing, shouting and violence will not be tolerated and may result in termination of membership of those involved.

All members and guests are advised to bring a towel to each visit and we request you wipe down each machine after use with the towel provided.

4.2 Classes and bookings

Members and guests are able to book in for classes 7 days before the class. If a member or guest wishes to cancel their booking, at least 30 minutes notice must be given. Failure to do so will result in a booking ban for 7 days.

4.3 Gym and studio facilities

Before members and guests use facilities at Studio 360 Fitness they must fill in a PAR Q (health screening questionnaire) and have an induction to the machinery and facilities. A doctors note may be required if the member has health issues that will seriously affect them when participating in exercise. It is the individuals’ responsibility to let staff know if they feel they may have any condition that will affect them or others whilst participating in exercise. It is down to the individual to monitor their own health during their time at Studio 360 Fitness. Studio 360 Fitness will not take responsibility for individuals who have failed to notify staff if they are feeling unwell or unable to carry on with the activity they are participating in. Notices will be displayed in the club in regard to any changes or events within the club; it is the members’ responsibility to read the notices. All accidents must be reported to gym or reception staff and an accident report filed.

4.4 Gym Conduct

Please follow the gym conduct rules. Return your weights and equipment after use. Do not drop your dumbbells. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear, clean equipment after use. and respect other gym members and staff. We want to ensure that everyone enjoys their time at the facility.

Section 5 Miscellaneous

5.1 Expulsion

Studio 350 Fitness reserve the right to terminate any membership where they feel the individual has not abided by the terms and conditions of their membership. The individual will receive a letter from Studio 360 Fitness to explain the reasons for the termination; the individual will then have the right to appeal to the Managing Director (Mr Stevie Wood, 32b Radford Way, Billericay, Essex, CM120BX) within 7 days from the date of this letter.

5.2 Complaints

Members of Studio 360 Fitness have the right to complain, complaints should be made to the manager on duty on the day that the incident/problem occurs. If you feel it is a more serious issue please write to the Managing Director with your complaint.

5.3 Alterations to terms and conditions

Studio 350 Fitness reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions of membership at any time. Studio 360 Fitness also reserves the right to refuse entry to the club for anyone whose behaviour or appearance does not seem appropriate for the club.

5.4 Car Park

Members and guests using the facilities are allowed to use the car parking facility for a maximum of 3 hours. Members and guests are not permitted to park in the car park if they are not using the facilities at that time. No liability is accepted for loss or damage to cars or property left in cars and member’s park at their own risk. Overflow parking is available at certain times, please obtain a copy of overflow parking options from reception.

5.5 Lost Property

Lost property will be held for a period of 2 weeks before being disposed of.

5.6 Lockers

Lockers are situated in the changing rooms for members and guests and should be used on a first come first served basis. Studio 360 Fitness is not responsible for loss or damage to any property left in the lockers. No items should be left in the lockers after visit. Lockers will be checked each night and any items found will be placed in lost property and retained for 2 weeks.

5.7 In event of Studio 360 Fitness being closed

Studio 360 Fitness may at any time withdraw all or any part of the club facilities for any period or periods where and when it may be deemed necessary for repair, maintenance, alteration or for safety reasons or alternative use.

In the event of Studio 360 Fitness having to close due to unforeseen circumstances, such as fire, flooding etc, then Studio 360 Fitness will not refund any money that has been paid however Studio 360 Fitness will extend memberships to cover the whole period in which the facility has been closed.

5.8 Personal Data

So we can provide the best possible service we collect personal data such as address, email address, phone number as well as relevant health information. By signing this agreement, you consent to your personal data to being stored on our secure servers. Financial information such as bank details and or card details are not stored on our system, we use Stripe or GoCardless for these collections and both use secure servers.

5.9 Private Policy

6. Free passes, promotions and offers

  • Free passes are available to those 16 years or older.
  • Those using free passes must comply with terms and conditions of membership and rules displayed in the club.
  • Free passes have no resale value.
  • Free passes require a health and safety induction.
  • Studio 360 Fitness reserves the right to end any promotions without warning at any time.
  • One free pass per person within 12 months.
  • Introductory membership offers and promotions are available to new members only.
